President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of new chief executive officers for agencies and parastatals under the Ministry of Communications, Innovations, and Digital Economy.

VerseNews reports that the new CEOs appointed are as follows:

  • EVC / CEO, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) — Aminu Maida
  • MD / CEO, Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) — Nkechi Egerton-Idehen
  • DG / CEO, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) — Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi
    • National Commissioner / CEO, Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) — Dr. Vincent Olatunji
  • Postmaster General / CEO, Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) — Tola Odeyemi

President Tinubu also approved the appointment of Idris Alubankudi as Special Adviser to the President on Technology and Digital Economy.

According to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President of on media and publicity, the above-mentioned appointments take immediate effect.
