House of Reps has approved the salaries bill which indicates that CJN salary will receive N5.39 million as monthly salary.

In the executive proposal presented to the Green Chamber on Tuesday by President Bola Tinubu, it is outlined that additional judges of the Supreme Court will receive a combined salary of N4.21m, whereas the President of the Court of Appeal will receive a total monthly package of N4.48m.

In a similar vein, judges serving on the Court of Appeal are entitled to receive a combined monthly remuneration of N3.73 million, whereas the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, President of the National Industrial Court, Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Grand Khadi, FCT Sharia Court of Appeal, President of Customary Court of Appeal, Chief Judge of a state High Court, Grand Khadi of the State Sharia Court of Appeal, and President of a state Customary Court of Appeal will receive a total monthly compensation of N3.53 million.

The monthly package includes fundamental salaries as well as customary allowances such as car fueling and maintenance, personal support, hardship, entertainment, utilities, security, clothing, magazine subscriptions, medical coverage, service allocations, restricted or forced lifestyle, shared responsibilities, and legal investigations.
