Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City had big comebacks in Saturday’s English Premier League (EPL) fixtures but Manchester United’s woes compounded after Brighton defeat at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur were down by a goal courtesy Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer in the 73rd minute.

Spurs needed less than 17 minutes to grab the maximum three points and both goals came from added on time courtesy Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevki who gave Spurs a Saturday of ecstasy.

Elsewhere, City had their own story after being down by 1-0 courtesy James Ward-Prowse in the 36 minute.

City were unable to find a leveler into the break. It was a major breakthrough for the citizens after Jeremy Doku’s 46th minute equaliser before Bernardo Silva gave his team the lead in the 76th minute.

Erling Haaland returned to seal the victory four minutes before full time.

Elsewhere, Brighton stunned United 3-1.

Liverpool headed to the top of the log after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1.
