Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have welcomed their first child.

VerseNews reports that the news was confirmed by Pastor Blessed in an Instagram post on October 27, 2023.

Though the singer didn’t reveal the gender of the child, reports making rounds online have it that the couple welcomed a baby boy.

Chinwo and Uzochikwa got married in August 2022. The couple has kept their personal lives private, so they have not shared any other details about the birth of their child.
