The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the first batch of results for the 2024 UTME will be out “any moment soon”.

VerseNews reports that this announcement was made on Saturday, April 20, via X (formerly Twitter) in response to numerous inquiries.

The 2024 UTME commenced on April 19 and is scheduled to conclude on April 29. This year, a record 1,985,642 candidates are participating, marking a significant increase from the 1,595,779 registrants in 2023.

JAMB conducts the UTME for admission into various tertiary institutions across Nigeria, including universities, monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

The exam is essential for prospective undergraduates and is valid for one year, with potential scores ranging from 0 to 400. All candidates are required to take English language, along with other subjects that vary depending on their chosen field of study.
