- Tinubu’s Rivers rally is scheduled for Port Harcourt today, with Nyesom Wike predicting a large turnout and Governor Siminalayi Fubara mobilising supporters.

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to attend a presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt on Saturday, November 7, as supporters prepare to receive him in Rivers State.
The Presidency announced the Rivers engagement as part of a two-state visit covering Akwa Ibom and Rivers. The itinerary placed the Port Harcourt rally after Friday’s activities in Uyo.
Ahead of the event, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, expressed confidence that at least 70,000 people would attend.
Wike made the projection on Friday after inspecting the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, the venue for the rally organised by the Rainbow Coalition.
The figure is his projected attendance, not a verified crowd count.
Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara also promised a substantial turnout during a mobilisation road walk in Port Harcourt.
He expressed confidence in preparations and assured the president that supporters would attend the event.
The rally forms part of political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections. At the time of verification, the available reports covered preparations and attendance expectations; they did not confirm Tinubu’s arrival, his address or the event’s outcome.
