Peter Obi Comfortably Won All 17 LGs In Enugu

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has on Monday February 26 declared the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi the winner of the presidential election in all 17 Local Government Areas in Enugu State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has on Monday February 26 declared the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi the winner of the presidential election in all 17 Local Government Areas in Enugu State.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that the result was announced based on the collation of results at the INEC state collection centre.

Obi polled a total of 428,640 votes, to defeat the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who polled a total of 15,749 votes. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, got a total of 4,772 votes.
