In the now-viral clip, Senator Kalu is seen leading Tinubu into his mother’s home, where the President was warmly received in a lively atmosphere.

As they approached the elderly woman, Kalu could be heard saying:

“Where is mama? Come and receive your guest now.”

Moments later, Tinubu smiled and said:

“Let me do the traditional one, the Yoruba, Idobale.”

The President then prostrated before Mrs. Kalu as a traditional Yoruba sign of respect for elders, a gesture that drew admiration from those present.

The gathering also featured former Speaker of the House of Representatives and current Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, whom Senator Kalu introduced to his mother during the visit.
