Nigerian billionaire activist investor Femi Otedola has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of FBN Holdings.
VerseNews reports that the decision was made during a board meeting on January 31, where Otedola succeeded Alhaji Ahmad Abdullahi, who was appointed board chair on December 17, 2021.
Otedola assumes the position of Chairman of the Board just five months after becoming a Non-Executive Director on August 14, 2023.
Mr. Otedola, a renowned business mogul with significant contributions in various sectors, is expected to bring his extensive experience and strategic insight to FBN Holdings. His leadership is anticipated to drive growth, innovation, and enhanced performance in the company.
