Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo tragically passes away in a boat accident in Asaba, Delta State.

Alongside two other actors, he drowned when the boat capsized. Confirmation of his death was made by the Delta State Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emma Onyemeziem.

The Nigerian entertainment industry mourns the loss of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, popularly known as Jnr Pope, who tragically passed away in a fatal accident.

VerseNews gathered that the incident occurred during a boat trip in Asaba, Delta State, where the boat capsized, resulting in the drowning of Junior Pope and two other unidentified actors.

Further reports gathered by this Online News Media revealed he died while attempting to cross the River Niger to shoot a film.

Despite efforts to rescue them, Junior Pope’s lifeless body was recovered and taken to the hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead.

The Delta State Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emma Onyemeziem, confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that Junior Pope’s remains have been deposited in the morgue, leaving the entertainment community in deep sorrow.
