This Online News Platform understands that the court’s decision came after Cubana Chief Priest declared, “I am not guilty,” in response to the charges against him.

He was accused of tampering with and spraying Nigerian currency during social events, which is considered an abuse of the naira under the Central Bank Act of 2007.

Despite being held in EFCC custody pending his arraignment, Cubana Chief Priest’s bail decision now allows him temporary freedom as he awaits further legal proceedings.

His case has drawn significant attention and sparked conversations about the abuse of naira notes and the broader implications of such actions in Nigeria.
