An internet fraudster identified as Lucky Victor Chinonso has been convicted and sentenced by the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
An internet fraudster identified as Lucky Victor Chinonso has been convicted and sentenced by the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
This Online News Media reports that Chinonso who is also a student in he state was charged for impersonation contrary to Section 22(2) (b) (i) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act, 2015.

Justice A. T. Mohammed in his judgment on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 jailed him to one year imprisonment after pleading “guilty” to the two-count charge preferred against him by the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
