Heathrow Airport has confirmed the start date for Air Peace’s new direct Abuja–London service, set to launch on October 26, 2025.

Heathrow Airport has officially congratulated Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace, as it prepares to expand operations in the United Kingdom with new direct flights from Abuja.

On July 20, Air Peace announced that it will launch direct routes from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports in London starting October 26, 2025.

In a celebratory post on X, Heathrow confirmed the upcoming service, stating:

“Heathrow is proud to welcome Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, to Terminal 3. Starting 26 October 2025, a new 3-weekly service will connect London Heathrow directly with Abuja, offering seamless access to West Africa and world-class service aboard a Boeing 777.”

“Congratulations to Air Peace on expanding its UK operations. We look forward to welcoming its first flight.”

The airline says the expansion will increase travel options for Nigerians and further solidify its footprint on international routes.
