  • Afrobeats rapper Odumodublvck has been summoned by an Abuja court over alleged criminal intimidation of a Chocolate City executive — a twist that eerily mirrors his lyric, “They been dey find me for court all along.”

Afrobeats star Odumodublvck is facing a fresh legal challenge that strikingly echoes one of his own lyrics. In his hit song “Industry Machine,” the rapper boasted, “They been dey find me for court all along.” Now, that line has come to life.

An Abuja Chief Magistrate Court has officially summoned the rapper, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, following a complaint of criminal intimidation filed by Olayinka Osagie Onobun, Head of Artists and Repertoire (A&R) at Chocolate City Music.

According to court filings obtained by The Cable Lifestyle, Onobun accused Odumodublvck of using social media posts on X (formerly Twitter) to threaten and cause fear. Presiding Magistrate Farida Ibrahim issued the summons on November 3, directing the artist to appear in court on November 6, 2025, to respond to the charges.

This latest legal battle adds to Odumodublvck’s growing list of controversies. He is already facing a civil suit filed by photographer Levi “Kraziecent” Ogbogiri, who accuses him of assault and destruction of property during a December 2024 public event. That hearing is set for November 26, 2025.

Beyond the courtroom, the rapper remains entangled in ongoing feuds within Nigeria’s hip-hop scene, including with Blaqbonez and MI Abaga of Chocolate City. Despite the drama, Odumodublvck maintains his innocence, writing on X that he is focused on “peace, closure, and moving forward.”

As two court dates approach this November, the rapper’s next battles may be fought not in the studio — but before the law.
