  • Nigerian superstar Davido celebrated in grand style after bagging a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the upcoming 68th Grammy Awards, joining Burna Boy and Ayra Starr among Africa’s top contenders.

A new video circulating online captures the moment award-winning artist Davido danced joyfully after receiving news of his 2026 Grammy Awards nomination.

The Recording Academy released the full list of nominees for the 68th edition of the prestigious awards, scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.

Davido secured a spot in the Best African Music Performance category with his hit track “With You” featuring Omah Lay. The song, off his fifth studio album “5ive,” marks Davido’s fifth Grammy nomination, further cementing his global influence.

Shortly after the announcement, the “Timeless” crooner took to his Instagram page to express gratitude, sharing a clip of himself dancing with joy. Captioning the video, he wrote:
