- In a major boost ahead of the AFCON 2025 tournament, CAF and the Morocco Local Organising Committee have announced free electronic visas for fans travelling to the competition.
Fans travelling to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) flagship tournament — the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 — will now be eligible to receive free electronic visas, the organisers announced on Friday.
CAF confirmed the development in an official statement on its website, saying that supporters from countries that usually require visas to enter Morocco will now get them at no cost.
According to CAF, “Electronic visas to enter Morocco — obtained through the YALLA app — are now free of charge for supporters attending the competition, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.”
The policy comes amid surging global demand, with more fans securing seats through CAF’s online ticketing platform.

Fan ID Now Mandatory
CAF also emphasized that a Fan ID will be mandatory for entry into match venues and official fan zones.
Supporters can complete both the Fan ID registration and e-visa application seamlessly within the YALLA app, available on Google Play, the App Store, or via the YALLA website.
Once approved, fans can proceed to purchase match tickets through the CAF ticketing portal.
