Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has announced the passing of his father.

The actor, who is the younger brother of popular actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, shared the sad news on Sunday via his official Instagram page. The announcement was accompanied by photos of his late father and a heartfelt message expressing his grief.

“Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this… Rest in peace, Dad,” Timini wrote. “So much left unsaid, but I’ll keep making you proud.”

The news has since drawn an outpouring of condolence messages from colleagues, fans, and friends across the entertainment industry.

Actress Funke Akindele was among those who paid tribute, writing, “May Daddy’s soul rest in peace.”
