Oby Patience, the Minister for Education and Solid Minerals under former president Olusegun Obasanjo has condemned the election violence and intimidations launched by thugs on citizens at their respective polling units in Lagos State

This VerseNews Nigeria observed that thugs alleged to be members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken over most of the polling units in the Saturday’s governorship and states of house of assembly across the state.

Videos circulating social medias records some citizens that where brutalized and left with injuries and blood on their body. most of them were rushed to hospitals for treatment.

The State’s Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa confirmed the attacks and electoral violence.

He said proper security measures have been taken and suspects arrested.

Reacting to the situation, the Nigeria democracy ambassador said it will be unimaginable what will happen if the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu assumes the office of the President.

She alleged that the thugs are criminal gangs of Tinubu and prayed for God’s Justice should intervene in the situation.
