• Music promoter Sam Larry has reportedly been hospitalised after a horrific road accident in Lagos, while his bouncer allegedly lost his life in the fatal crash.

Nigerian music promoter and socialite Sam Larry has reportedly been hospitalised after being involved in a ghastly road accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos.

According to reports, the crash occurred in the early hours of Saturday when Sam Larry’s vehicle allegedly rammed into a trailer.

The accident reportedly claimed the life of his personal bouncer, who was said to have died at the scene, while Sam Larry sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed the badly damaged vehicle, highlighting the severity of the impact.

Confirming the incident, comedian and master of ceremonies Mario Wazobia appealed to Nigerians to pray for the music promoter.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, he wrote, “PRAY FOR SAMMYLARRY.”

Sharing additional photos from the crash scene, Mario Wazobia added, “More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.”

As of the time of filing this report, neither Sam Larry’s family nor his management has issued an official statement regarding his condition, while authorities are yet to release details on the cause of the accident.
