- Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal worth up to £50 million to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, with the Brazilian now expected to undergo a medical before the move is completed.

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos in a deal worth up to £50 million.
According to multiple British media outlets, the transfer is now in its final stages, with Santos expected to complete a medical before officially joining the Red Devils.
Sky Sports reported that United agreed a deal worth £50 million, while The Athletic said the clubs settled on £48 million plus £2 million in performance-related add-ons, with personal terms already agreed.

The Guardian also reported that United had completed a deal valued at around £48 million, while The Times claimed Chelsea negotiated a 10 per cent sell-on clause as part of the agreement.
If completed, the 22-year-old Brazilian will reportedly sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Santos joined Chelsea from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in 2023 before spending loan spells at Nottingham Forest and French side Strasbourg, where his performances attracted widespread praise.
Although he was not a regular starter ahead of Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández last season, Santos still made 43 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals for the Blues.
Neither Manchester United nor Chelsea has officially confirmed the transfer at the time of filing this report, with the deal expected to be finalised after the completion of the remaining formalities and medical examination.
