Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla has announced that she will perform in Lagos, Nigeria, as part of her highly anticipated ‘A*POP’ World Tour.

The 24-year-old music star unveiled the tour schedule on Monday via her Instagram page, confirming that the global tour is inspired by her newly released sophomore album, APOP.

The tour will kick off in Paris, France, on October 12, before making stops across Europe and North America.

Tyla is scheduled to perform in Lagos on December 22, making Nigeria one of only 11 countries included in the international tour.

After the Lagos concert, the singer will conclude the tour with performances in Cape Town on January 4 and Johannesburg on January 9.

The world tour includes shows in France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the United States, Nigeria and South Africa.

Tyla shot to global fame with her 2023 hit single ‘Water’, which earned her the Best African Music Performance award at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

She has since released several successful songs, including Truth or Dare, Jump, and Art, and retained her Grammy title in 2026 after beating top African stars, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin.
