The Lagos State Police Command has a new Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha, replacing Idowu Owohunwa, who was recently promoted to Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
VerseNews reports that the posting, effective immediately, was communicated through a police wireless message dated December 11, 2023.
The police wireless message marked TH.5361/FS/FHQ/ABJ/T.5/103 was signed by the Nigeria Police Force Secretary, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed Fayoade’s deployment, noting that he is expected to assume duty shortly.
