President Bola Tinubu has expressed sympathy for the families affected by the tragic bombing incident in Tundun Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

VerseNews reports that the President, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, expressed his deep sorrow and concern over the tragic event, describing it as a regrettable, distressing, and agonizing occurrence.

Tinubu described the incident as unfortunate, disturbing, and painful, directing a thorough investigation and calling for calm.

He also urged comprehensive medical attention for survivors and prayed for the souls of the deceased.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the injuries sustained in this tragic incident,” the President said.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray for the repose of their souls.”

President Tinubu has also instructed the appropriate authorities to carry out a comprehensive inquiry into the occurrence.

The tragic incident occurred during the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Maulid Nabiyy), with scores of worshippers reportedly killed by aerial bombardment from the Nigerian Air Force.
