Burna Boy canceled his upcoming Amsterdam show at the Johan Cruyff Arena due to the event organizers’ failure to meet contractual obligations.

He assured fans of refunds within 30 days and expressed regret over the cancellation.

Nigerian music sensation, Burna Boy, has made headlines once again, this time for cancelling his highly anticipated show at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

VerseNews reports that the show, originally scheduled for June 9th as part of his ‘I Told Them’ album tour, has been called off due to a failure by the event organizers to meet their contractual obligations.

Taking to his Instagram story, Burna Boy expressed his regret over the cancellation, citing the organizers’ failure to fulfill their commitments as the reason behind the decision.

He assured fans who had already purchased tickets that they would be refunded within the next 30 days.

“We regret to inform you that due to a failure by the event organisers to meet their contracted obligations, Burna Boy’s concert at the stadium on June 9th 2024 has been cancelled.”

“All ticket buyers will be refunded from point of purchase within 30 days. Love you and see you soon”.

The announcement comes as a disappointment to Burna Boy’s fans in Amsterdam and beyond, who were eagerly anticipating his performance at the prestigious Johan Cruyff Arena.

However, despite the setback, Burna Boy remains grateful for the continued support of his fans and looks forward to returning to the stage soon.
