Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, has proudly declared himself as one of the wealthiest African artists.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, VerseNews noted that Medikal confidently stated that he is richer than most African musicians, with the exception of Nigerian artist, Davido.

His bold statement has garnered significant attention, particularly because he took the opportunity to make subtle comparisons, suggesting that Davido is the only Nigerian musician who surpasses him in wealth.

Medikal’s claim is accompanied by a tweet in which he indirectly downplays the talents of budding Nigerian star, Rema and other accomplished singers.

The rapper stated this after sharing a tweet displaying his conversation with YouTuber Kai Cenat, who expressed excitement about receiving a hero’s welcome upon arriving in Ghana.

Medikal captioned the post with enthusiasm, stating, “F*kn goat coming to GH. Naa I’m gassed fr.”

However, not everyone shared Medikal’s sentiments. One user questioned Medikal’s use of the term “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) and suggested that the rapper do not fully understand its meaning.

“Big artiste like you …You don’t know the meaning of GOAT u just Dey use am anyhow …Jon Rapper”. the Twitter user said.

Another user pointed out the age difference between Medikal and Rema, insinuating that “Bro MDK is 10 years older than the boy ooo …MDK go fit do boy boy give REMA Asuer.”

In response to the comments, Medikal reiterated his claim, stating, “The only Nigerian artist wey hold pass me na Davido I swear.”
