Nigeria Popular singer and writer, Tiwatope Savage popularly known by her stage name, ‘Tiwa Savage’ has confirmed escaping from a security breach at her residence.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that the award winner singer disclose this on her Instagram handle through a copy of the statement signed by her management.

The statement stated that the ‘kidnap attempt’ attempt is under investigation of Lagos police.

The statement reads: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.

“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.”

However, our Reporters gathered that the Savage newly employed driver is the mastermind behind and the kidnap attempt and has been arrest.

“Eary today Thursday April 13th 2023, an attempt was made to kidnap Tiwa Savage in Lagos. A new domestic staff specifically a driver passing information to his co-conspirators who have been trailing her as she leflt home for days.

“The guys have all been arrested with the help of vigilant style private at CID and they were handed to police at CID Alagbon in Ikoyi,” a source said.
