JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results

JAMB has released the 2024 UTME results for over 1.94 million candidates nationwide after a meticulous scrutiny process.

The delayed release aimed to ensure the integrity of the results by addressing concerns such as impersonation and malpractices, marking the end of an examination period spanning multiple towns and centres across Nigeria.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled the results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), marking the culmination of an examination process undertaken by over 1.94 million candidates across 118 towns and over 700 centres nationwide.

VerseNews reports that the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, made the announcement during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday. The UTME, which commenced on April 19th, concluded on April 29th, 2024.

The delay in releasing the results was attributed to the board’s meticulous scrutiny aimed at ensuring the credibility and integrity of the examination outcomes.

This thorough examination process sought to address concerns such as impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractices to uphold the sanctity of the results.
