Tinubu holds a closed-door meeting with PANDEF leaders to discuss Niger Delta issues and the Rivers political crisis.

President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with leaders of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

VerseNews reports that the meeting, which began at 4:15 PM, started with a minute of silence in honor of the late PANDEF leader, Chief Edwin Clark.

While the agenda was not disclosed, discussions are expected to focus on oil, gas, and peace in the Niger Delta, as well as the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

PANDEF leaders, including King Alfred Diete-Spiff and Obong Victor Attah, are present, along with key government officials.
