The widow of the late Nigerian singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, who was better known as Mohbad, has broken her silence and is determined to clear her name amidst a series of allegations levied against her.

Omawunmi, the widow, had been implicated in the controversial circumstances surrounding the death of the singer, with questions arising about the paternity of their child, Liam, from fans of the deceased Afrobeat artist.

Joseph Aloba, the late singer’s father, has insisted on a DNA test to establish the true lineage of his grandson, Liam, referring to the paternity test as “non-negotiable.”

In an exclusive conversation with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, Omawunmi revealed that she had maintained her silence until the coroner inquest scheduled for November 7th.

She expressed her belief that the Nigerian government is actively working towards justice for her late husband.

Omawunmi made it clear that she intends to share her side of the story in a granted interview to the world and is committed to undergoing a DNA test to dispel any doubts regarding her son’s paternity.

Her message to Iyabo Ojo read, “I have decided not to speak on anything until November 7, which is the coroner inquest because I do not want any side distraction. All I want is justice for my husband, which I believe the Nigerian government is working on. After everything, I’ll either grant an interview or tell my own story before the whole world, and also, DNA is definitely a must!!!”
