‘Ned Nwoko Used My Daughter to Revive His Fallen Star’ – Rita Daniels Blows Hot

• Nollywood actress and mother of Regina Daniels, Rita Daniels, has publicly blasted her billionaire son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of orchestrating the arrest of her son and claiming he used Regina to revive his “fallen star.”

In a fresh twist to the Daniels–Nwoko family saga, actress Rita Daniels has lashed out at her daughter’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, over the alleged arrest of her son, Sweezy Daniels.

Recall that Regina Daniels had earlier accused Ned of ordering the arrest of her siblings in an attempt to compel her to enter rehabilitation.

In a video currently making the rounds online, a visibly furious Rita Daniels accused the Delta lawmaker of exploiting Regina’s fame and falsely projecting his wealth to the public.

“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star,” Rita ranted. “If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down. My daughter supported your senatorial election with $50,000. We are covering you up and making you feel like an Odogwu — you’re mad.”

The video has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with Nigerians divided over the family’s growing feud.

Some netizens blamed Rita Daniels for encouraging the marriage in the first place.

“If she had used this same energy to chase Pa Ned the day he came to ask for her daughter’s hand in marriage, everything no go turn like this,” one user, Kira, commented.

Others called for official action against the senator.

“Make Nigeria Senate first suspend Ned for this misconduct. If him nor fit put him house in order, how him want take dey efficient in carrying out duties wey dem elect him for?” wrote Blessed Hand.

However, not everyone sided with Rita. A user named Mcllawy urged the family to take the dispute off social media.

“Trying to twist the narrative won’t solve the issue, ma’am. Your daughter already made it look like her marriage was financially motivated. All this online dragging will only make things worse,” he said.

The public fallout comes weeks after Regina Daniels accused her husband of domestic abuse in a viral video. Ned Nwoko has since denied the allegations, claiming Regina struggles with substance abuse and that her brother, Sweezy, and a close friend are part of the problem.

As of now, neither Ned Nwoko nor the Nigerian Police has issued an official statement regarding the alleged arrests.
