The actress issued a statement via her Instagram page on Monday, following days of intense online buzz after Senator Nwoko, in a lengthy Facebook post, accused some of Regina’s close associates — including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana — of sabotaging his wife’s recovery process.

According to Nwoko, Regina’s friends “frequently defied medical instructions restricting access to her during therapy” and allegedly brought her the same substances she was being treated for.

Reacting to the accusations, Montana dismissed the claims outright, writing:

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

However, the controversy deepened as Senator Nwoko doubled down on his stance, alleging that his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction and had at times exhibited violent behavior toward domestic staff.

In a dramatic twist, Regina Daniels fired back at her husband, accusing him of hypocrisy and claiming that he introduced her to the substances he now blames for her condition. She further alleged that he locked her up, seized her phones, and forced himself on her whenever she resisted.
