Popular radio personality Dotun’s estranged wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo, is facing contempt charges for denying Dotun access to their children.
VerseNews gathered that Taiwo had filed for divorce in Abuja, and the court had granted shared custody of the children to both parents.
Despite the court’s order, Taiwo refused to allow Dotun access to their children since December 2022, leading to legal action and a social media feud between the couple.
The court found Taiwo guilty of violating the court’s order and ordered her to pay a fine of N200,000 within 30 days or face potential jail time.
There was reported drama when Taiwo’s lawyers attempted to withdraw their representation, and the matter was rescheduled for a trial on December 11th.
