Nigerian pastor and founder of Streams of Joy Ministries, Jerry Eze, has achieved a rare global milestone after his online prayer platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), was ranked the third most-watched YouTube channel in the world in 2025.

The ranking, released by Stream Charts—an international streaming analytics platform—revealed that NSPPD recorded more than 102 million watch hours during the year, outperforming all non-gaming creators on YouTube within the review period.

Only Brazilian singer Frei Gilson, with 154 million watch hours, and Dominican content creator Luinny Corporan, with 137 million watch hours, ranked ahead of the Nigerian pastor. Stream Charts data showed that NSPPD stood as the most-watched non-gaming YouTube channel globally in 2025.

The achievement marks Pastor Eze’s third major global recognition this year. In September, PREMIUM TIMES reported that he retained his position as Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTuber for the second consecutive year. Earlier, in August 2024, the newspaper disclosed that his YouTube channel had generated earnings of about ₦7.81 billion within a specified period.

Reacting to the milestone in a Facebook post on Saturday, Pastor Eze expressed gratitude to God and members of the NSPPD community, noting that the platform had far exceeded its original purpose.

“This was definitely not our mission, but see what God has done. Third most-watched YouTube channel in the world, away from gaming sites,” he wrote.

Reflecting on the journey, the cleric described the feat as a spiritual victory, praising followers who consistently joined the daily online prayers.

“I don’t even know what to say but to thank Jesus. This flawed young man from the backside of the desert—you chose to show forth your might through. This wasn’t the mission, but Lord, I will be a fool not to say thank you,” he added.

The NSPPD YouTube channel was launched on November 21, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when physical church gatherings were restricted. What began as a daily online prayer meeting has since grown into a global ministry, attracting millions of viewers across continents.

The channel currently boasts over 3.06 million subscribers and more than 3,000 uploaded videos, with cumulative views running into hundreds of millions. Its daily livestreams often draw hundreds of thousands of participants and have consistently placed NSPPD among Nigeria’s top-earning YouTube platforms, driven largely by Super Chat donations and high live-audience engagement.
