Popular TikToker Peller faces mass reports on his 9.6M-followers TikTok account after criticizing Nigerians for ranting about the government online.

His comments sparked outrage, with some calling for his ban while others defend him.

Popular TikToker Peller is at risk of losing his 9.6 million-follower TikTok account after sparking outrage with his comments on Nigerians complaining about the government.

In a viral video seen by VerseNews, Peller criticized Nigerians for constantly ranting about the government on TikTok, suggesting that many do it just for likes and engagement rather than real change. He added that he would never speak against the government, as doing so could have serious consequences for him as a public figure.

Peller further stated that if anything happened to him, Nigerians would only trend “Justice for Peller” for a few days before moving on—similar to the case of late singer Mohbad.

His remarks triggered backlash, with many questioning his rise to fame and calling him insensitive. Some critics have started mass-reporting his TikTok account, demanding it be taken down, while his supporters argue that he is not responsible for Nigeria’s problems.

As of now, Peller has not responded to the controversy.
