Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has been appointed head of the Senate Committee on Local Content and deputy chairman of the Committee on Steel by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday.

VerseNews reports that Akpabio also named Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (APC, Ondo South) as head of the Inter-Parliamentary Affairs Committee, as well as 13 other senators as chairmen and vice chairs of several committees.

Committee on Steel – Patrick Ndubueze (chairman) and Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (vice-chairman)

Committee on Tourism – Shuaibu Isa Lau (chairman) and Ireti Kingigbe (vice-chairman)

Committee on State and Local Government Affairs – Binos Yaroe (Chairman) and Francis Fadahunsi (vice-chairman)

Committee on National Atomic and Nuclear Energy – Sahabi Alhaji Yau (chairman) and Mustapha Khalid Ibrahim (vice-chairman)

Committee on Youth and Community Engagement – Yemi Adaramodu (chairman)

Committee on Sport Development – Kawu Sumaila (chairman) and Ned Nwoko (vice chairman)

Committee on Niger Delta Affairs – Babajide Ipinsagba (chairman) and Rev. Amos Kumai Yohanna (vice-chairman)
