VerseNews reports that in a statement on Tuesday, Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, through Permanent Secretary Dr. Aishetu Ndayako, congratulated Nigerians on the occasion.
The statement encouraged citizens to reflect on the contributions of the nation’s founding fathers and to strive for a united, secure, and peaceful Nigeria.
Tunji-Ojo also emphasized the importance of upholding democratic values and mentioned President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to economic reforms and improved security.
The minister urged Nigerians and friends of the country to recognize the progress made and to look forward to a brighter future for Nigeria’s democracy.
