The political heavyweights were officially sworn in on Monday night in Abuja as members of the party’s newly constituted National Executive Committee (NEC), marking a significant shift in the ADC’s leadership structure.

The brief but symbolic inauguration, held at Chelsea Hotel, Abuja, was supervised by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure proper transition protocols.

According to the party, the leadership overhaul is part of its strategy to reposition itself as a formidable opposition force ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The ADC is also aligning with a broader coalition of opposition parties aiming to challenge the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu in the next election cycle.
