  • A 2023 interview of actress Regina Daniels has resurfaced online, reigniting heated conversations about loyalty, motherhood, and her strained relationship with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

A resurfaced video of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stirred intense reactions online as fans revisit her past comments in light of her ongoing marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko.

The throwback clip, recorded in 2023 during a media interview, shows Regina answering a sensitive hypothetical question: if both her husband and her biological father needed a kidney to survive, who would she choose to save?

At the time the interview was conducted, Regina’s marriage to Nwoko appeared stable, and the couple shared two children. However, their relationship later collapsed in 2025 amid a messy public dispute, with Regina accusing Nwoko of domestic abuse, while the senator alleged that she struggled with drug and alcohol dependency.

In the resurfaced interview, Regina explained that she would donate her kidney to her children’s father, even though the decision would be emotionally painful.
According to her, ensuring her kids did not grow up without their father was a sacrifice she was willing to make.

“I would prefer to give the father of my children the kidney so that my children can have a future with their dad,” she said, adding that she would accept the grief of losing her own father so her children wouldn’t experience the same loss.

She was later asked to choose between her husband and her mother—and she answered instantly.
Regina chose her mother, emphasizing that “a mother’s love outweighs everything,” and stressing that her bond with her mother surpasses all others.

The viral clip has since triggered strong conversations online.

Many users defended Regina’s choices, pointing out that her decision was centered on her children’s well-being rather than loyalty to her estranged husband. Others revisited the emotional complexities of sacrifice, motherhood, and marital loyalty.
