Hospital Disowns Regina Daniels’ Drug Test Report as Nwoko Family Feud Deepens

• Serenity Royale Hospital has debunked a viral medical report alleging actress Regina Daniels is battling substance abuse, even as accusations and counter-accusations tear through the Nwoko household.

Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja has firmly distanced itself from a viral medical report claiming that Nollywood star Regina Daniels has been undergoing treatment for substance abuse.

The widely circulated document alleged that Daniels was diagnosed with a substance use disorder and placed on a home-based detox programme that reportedly began on September 24, 2025. The supposed report carried the signature of the hospital’s Managing Director and Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Adekunle Adesina.

In a disclaimer issued on Thursday, the hospital clarified that the document was fabricated and did not originate from them.

“Our attention has been drawn to a post on an alleged mid-term home detox report being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Nwoko Regina. We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post containing classified information did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard the same,” the statement read.

The controversy escalates amid an intensifying family feud involving billionaire politician Ned Nwoko and his wives.

Earlier in the week, Laila Charani — one of Nwoko’s wives — publicly accused Regina Daniels of introducing her to drugs and alcohol years ago, alleging the influence nearly destroyed her marriage. She claimed Nwoko had consistently warned against substance use and pushed for intervention.

“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs. The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him,” Charani said.

Before the accusation, Charani had been sharing cheerful family updates online, including vacation moments with Nwoko, captioned, “Too busy building my peace, life, and family, no time for anything else.”

Regina Daniels, meanwhile, continued to address issues with her estranged husband publicly, posting: “My ex-man never slept outside for one day in our seven years of marriage because, as a Delta babe, I held him well in the other room.”

The situation continues to generate heated reactions, with the viral medical claim now officially dismissed but the Nwoko family tensions far from resolved.
