Nigerian skitmaker and human rights activist, Mr Macaroni, has taken to social platform X to demand clear answers from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding the recent kidnapping of schoolgirls in Kebbi State.

In his post, Mr Macaroni reminded the President of a 2023 campaign promise in which he vowed to decisively confront Nigeria’s lingering insecurity. He questioned what concrete actions were currently being taken to rescue the abducted girls and restore public confidence. According to him, Nigerians deserve transparency, reassurance, and immediate leadership at a time like this.

In a follow-up message, the comedian expressed deep frustration over what he described as a disturbing pattern among Nigerian political leaders—placing elections, political power, and personal interests above the lives and safety of citizens.

Mr Macaroni also condemned the Presidency’s silence despite several alarming incidents across the country, including the recent killing of a Nigerian military General and multiple security personnel. He argued that the absence of a direct national address from President Tinubu only heightens fear and uncertainty among the public.

His comments come amid rising tension in Kebbi State, where armed bandits attacked a community and kidnapped several schoolgirls. Families and residents have repeatedly called on the government for urgent action. While security agencies say efforts are underway, official updates remain scarce, fueling nationwide anxiety.
