Afrobeats superstar Davido has spoken about his relationship with his wife, Chioma, describing her as an irreplaceable part of his life and revealing that they communicate every single day, no matter where he is in the world.

Speaking during a livestream with Darvel, the singer said staying connected with his wife has become a normal part of his daily routine.

“I talk to my wife every time, every day. She’s a part of me. I can’t live without her.”

“I call her over everything”

Davido said he often calls Chioma over the smallest things, including funny memes he comes across online.

“If I see any funny meme, I can call her. If I see another funny one, I’ll call her again.”

He added that distance never stops them from communicating, even when he is travelling.

“Landing oo, take off I’ll call her.”

Offering relationship advice, Davido encouraged people to marry someone they genuinely enjoy spending time with.
