Mohbad Wife was unfaithful
Mohbad - Joseph Aloba

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad has created a stir online during the Coroners Inquest by revealing that his son’s wife, Omowunmi, had been unfaithful to him while he was alive.

VerseNews reports that the inquest, which occurred on October 25, 2023, involved various family members, including Mohbad’s spouse, father, and mother.

Aloba shared that he and his son had a close relationship for 18 years, during which Mohbad had never been seriously ill. Mohbad left home at the age of consent to pursue his music career, assisting Naira Marley.

Upon achieving success, he reconciled with his mother and even gifted his father a car. Aloba mentioned that issues had arisen between Mohbad and Naira Marley, but Mohbad assured him he would handle them.

Aloba accused Omowunmi of putting sleeping pills in Mohbad’s food and engaging in relationships with other artists in the same house, expressing his distrust of her and revealing that important property documents were in her mother’s possession.

“I don’t trust his wife. My son told me she always put sleeping pills in his noodles and went to another room to sleep with another signee in the same house.” he said.

Mohbad visited his father just three days before his death, and Aloba was unaware of his son’s neck condition in the casket as he did not attend the burial and only saw the pictures later.
