EFCC Arraigns Aisha Sabo Over N10 Million Fraud

Aisha Sabo has been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Damaturu, Yobe State, by the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

VerseNews reports that she charge against her is related to criminal misappropriation amounting to N10,473,500.

She pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charge. The court set a trial date for January 24, 2024, and granted bail to the defendant with two sureties, one of whom must be a traditional or religious leader, and the other a reasonable person in Yobe State.

The sureties are to be verified by the EFCC.
