Jude Bellingham delivered another match-winning performance as England secured a place in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals with a hard-fought victory over Norway after extra time.
The Real Madrid midfielder scored twice, including the decisive goal in extra time, to help England overcome a spirited Norwegian side that pushed them to the limit in the sweltering Miami heat.
Bellingham’s second goal came after a long-range effort from his close friend Morgan Rogers was spilled by the Norwegian goalkeeper, allowing the midfielder to react quickest and fire home the winner.
The brace takes Bellingham’s tally to six goals at the tournament, drawing him level with England captain Harry Kane.
His outstanding performances have made him one of England’s most influential players as they continue their quest for World Cup glory.
England will now face either France or Spain in the semi-finals, with Bellingham emerging as a leading contender for the tournament’s Best Player award if the Three Lions go on to lift the trophy.
