Two Chinese nationals have been kidnapped after gunmen invaded a quarry in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on Friday, November 21, according to multiple local reports.

The incident occurred at the “24 Hours Quarry” located along the Oru-Ijebu–Ijebu-Ode Expressway. Witnesses said the attackers, identified by locals as armed Fulani gunmen, arrived abruptly in the afternoon and opened fire, causing workers to flee for safety.

In the chaos, the assailants reportedly seized two Chinese expatriates working at the site and immediately escaped into the surrounding bush.
