The Nigerian Army has honoured soldiers wounded in the fight against insurgency with a special luncheon held at the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital, Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri, Borno State.

The event formed part of activities marking the 2026 Army Day Celebration and brought together injured troops, senior military officers and medical personnel to recognise the sacrifices made by soldiers during counter-terrorism operations under Operation Hadin Kai.
