Unai Emery led Aston Villa dealt a heavy blow on Everton in one of English Premier League (EPL) Sunday fixtures in a four goal thriller.

Villa demoralised Everton in the first 45 minutes scoring twice as John Mcginn opened the scoreline in the 18th after an assist by Leon Bailey to make 1-0.

The second came four minutes after via a penalty kick as Douglas Luiz slotted to the far right despite Jordan Pickford’s reading of his body language.

Villa got one back in six minutes after the break to make it 3-0 courtesy Leon Bailey.

The frustrated Sean Dyche’s boys were flat footed allowing Villa for another goal, the fourth and final of the match.

John Duran’s left footed shot from the centre of the box into the bottom left corner sunk Everton’s hope snatching a point after losing their first season opener match.

Villa are ninth on the log with three points.
