- Masoyinbo creator Olalekan Fabilola has sparked reactions after hinting that President Bola Tinubu could feature on the popular Yoruba quiz show, saying “nothing is impossible.”

The creator and host of the popular Yoruba language quiz show Masoyinbo, Olalekan Fabilola, has hinted that President Bola Tinubu could make a future appearance on the programme.
Fabilola, popularly known as “Ọlálékàn,” made the remark after sharing a fan’s request urging him to invite the Nigerian leader to the show.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, the quiz master revealed that he receives similar requests from fans almost every day.
“I get message like this every day, at least 20 a day — nothing is impossible. Baba @officialABAT @NGRPresident,” he wrote.
The post included a screenshot of a fan’s message written in Yoruba, which translates to:
“Teacher, please bring President Bola Tinubu to Masoyinbo.”
Although Fabilola did not confirm whether Tinubu would actually appear on the programme, his response quickly sparked excitement among followers, with many interpreting it as a sign that such a guest appearance could happen in the future.
Masoyinbo, which means “Don’t Speak English,” is a Yoruba language quiz show created to promote the preservation and use of the Yoruba language and culture.
Contestants are challenged to answer 10 questions entirely in Yoruba without speaking English or any other foreign language, with successful participants winning cash prizes.
The programme has featured several notable Nigerian personalities, including Funke Akindele, Falz, Ali Baba, Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, and Saheed Osupa.
Broadcast across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and DStv, Masoyinbo has become one of Nigeria’s most popular indigenous language game shows, blending entertainment with cultural preservation.
