One particularly unsettling revelation is a viral audio message purportedly exchanged between Mohbad and his wife shortly before his passing. In the recording, Mohbad accuses his wife of harboring malicious intentions and conspiring to harm him.

He expresses suspicion that her illness might be a ruse to extract sensitive information via WhatsApp, potentially for nefarious purposes after his death.

This audio exchange has intensified speculation surrounding the tragedy.

Another contentious aspect of the situation is Mohbad’s strained relationship with his former record label manager, Naira Marley. Disturbing footage emerged of Mohbad being harassed by Sam Larry, an aide to Naira Marley, further fueling the controversy.

Additionally, it has come to light that Mohbad had taken legal action to address the harassment he endured during the filming of a music video with Zlatan Ibile.

In June 2023, he filed a petition with the Nigerian police seeking protection for his life and property, shedding light on the emotional toll the situation had taken.
