Moet Abebe, also known as Laura Abebe, a 34-year-old media personality, revealed reasons for her single status during the podcast “Bahd and Boujee,” co-hosted with Tolani Baj and featuring guest Nollywood actor Etim Effiong.

In June 2023, VerseNews learnt that Abebe opened up about enduring an abusive relationship with her ex-fiance for around two and a half years.

Moet expressed her reluctance to date men living on the Lagos mainland in October 2023, citing concerns about their willingness to respond to late-night calls due to safety reasons.

Her disinterest in marriage was noted in 2021, describing it as a “fraud.”

She attributes her single status to her opinion that “most men do not have sense” and criticized men for not committing, saying they “dip their fingers in so many pots,” leaving her with limited appealing options for a relationship.

In her words; “You already know my reservations. I am tired of saying this every episode.
